On the 9.th European paragliding championship in Morzine (France 01- 14.07. 2006) the macedonian team consisted of Goran Dimishkovski, Vladimir Nedelkovski, Igor Todevski, Vladimir Zdravkovski, Sasho Smilevski Karolina Smilevska and Mirjana Simonovska won the 12th place out of 30 team contestants. Out of 134 contestants in the singe mode Goran Dimishkovski was placed on the 48th place, Vladimir Nedelkovski was 52nd and Igor Todevski was the 60th.www.europaragliding.com

The macedonian senior team (Lazar Malinov, Georgi Georgievski and Stanisa Petrovic) participated on the 16th World championship in spacemodelling Bajkonur, Kazakhstan (16 - 29 September 2006). 300 contestants out of 25 countries participated in the championship in junior and senior competition. The macedonian rocket modeling team won the 6th place, the 16th place and 14th place in three different categories

The macedonian team member Mendo Veljanovski was placed on the 33th place in the 1st FAI World Hang Gliding and Paragliding Aerobatic Championship in Villeneuve, Switzerland 18 - 27 August 2006). 40 contestants of 20 countries won the right for participation on the championship. The number of the contestants was limited and only the first 40 ranked on the world rang list (WPRS) which is selected by FAI. www.rebull-vertigo.com

The macedonian paragliding team (consisted of members of the "Delta club" and "Delta" paragliding clubs) won the first place in team ranking competition by wining 1530 points on the open championship "Albania open 2006" in Valona, Albania ( 9 - 13 May 2006). In individual ranking competition Zlatko Spirkoski won the 1st place, Martin Jovanoski won the 2nd, Kristijan Temelkoski won the 3rd, and Mile Jovanoski won the 4th place. 52 contestants from from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia and Kosovo participated in the open championship.

The macedonian team member Mendo Valjanovski won the 25th place on the Freestyle paragliding World cup in Annesy, France (25 - 28 April 2006.) Contestants from the 10 top ranked countries participated in the World cup.

The sixteen year-old Martin Jovanoski with only 46 negative points won the first place on the open paragliding championship "Rashka open 2006" in Serbia (30 september - 1 October 2006.). Mile Jovanoski from the paragliding club "Delta" from Prilep won the 3th place. 64 contestants participated in the championship.
